For Brandon Cox, service isn’t just something he talks about — it has shaped his entire life.
A native of Pamplico, South Carolina, Brandon comes from a family whose roots in the state stretch back to the early 1700s. He went on to serve 16 years in the U.S. Air Force, both active duty and reserve, building a career defined by discipline, responsibility, and service.
During his military career, Brandon completed training at the U.S. Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal, U.S. Army Air Assault School, and U.S. Navy Dive School.
From Service to Leadership
After his military service, Brandon brought that same no-excuses approach to the private sector, eventually serving as President and CEO of Threat Management Group.
His commitment to public service continued at home. Brandon was elected to Goose Creek City Council in 2016, then served on Berkeley County Council from 2019 to 2022 before being elected to represent District 92 in the South Carolina House.
Rooted in South Carolina
Brandon and his wife, Hannah, have three children: Doug, Ashley, and Nathan. They are members of New Life Christian Fellowship Church in Goose Creek.
For Brandon, serving District 92 is an extension of the values that have guided him throughout his life: putting service before self, taking responsibility, and getting the job done.
